Mayor Robert Whitehorn; likes to camp and drive his RZR. He has 2 sons and has been married to Kim for 43 years. Robert was appointed to the Avoca Town Council and was then elected Mayor in 2018.

Rec/Tres. Nanette Barnes; likes to read, watch a good TV show and spend time with her family and friends. Nanette was appointed to the Planning Commission and held the position from 2011 - 2012, she was then appointed to the Avoca Town Council in 2012. She held that position until 2016 when she was appointed Recorder/Treasurer and was hired as the town office administrator. Nanette ran unopposed in 2018 - present.
